Alert: Somerset East & West – Reporting Crime

We are reminding and encouraging people to ensure they report crimes to us as soon as possible.

The earlier you report a crime, especially if it is in progress, the more chance there may be of gathering evidence to aid our enquiries. It could also be the difference between our officers being able to recover stolen property, returning it to you, and arresting and charging those responsible for the theft.

If you have been a victim of crime and not yet reported it, please call us on 101 (our non-emergency line) or report online – see links below. If an incident is ongoing or there is a threat to life, please call 999.
